• I am interested in the reconstruction of Cretaceous and Cenozoic
palaeoceanography and palaeoclimate. The main focus of my
research are Oceanic Anoxic Events (OAE), long-term stable
isotope records, Pliocene climate changes, and benthic
foraminiferal ecology, including its usefulness in reconstructing
ancient environments. My current research also includes the
reliability and calibration of the Mg/Ca palaeothermometer.
