• I am interested in using microorganisms to reconstruct paleoclimates and paleoceanography. In particular, I am interested in stable and clumped isotopes as a proxy to reconstruct temperature and ice-volume changes during critical periods in earth history. My current research is focused on the ecology and shell chemistry of benthic and planktonic foraminifera from the late Cretaceous.
